OLD RESIDENTS’ RE-UNION
MESSRS McPHILLIPS AND GLENN.
DIRECTORS OF KAUPOKONUI.
Mr. T. MoPhillips, New Plymouth, and Mr. J, Glenn, Wanganui, enjoyed a reunion at the Ma.na.ia ‘ jubilee ball on Saturday night. So far as they could discover they were the only two surviving the directorate of the Kaupokonui Dairy Company of 1900 — 32 years ago. Both Mr. MoPhillips and Mr. Glenn (a brother of Mr. W. S. Glenn, ALP.), were formerly well known residents of the Waimate Plains. They had not seen each other for many years, and they keenly enjoyed an exchange of reminiscences. Though both were over 00 they actively participated in the dance from beginning to end.
