THREE CHRISTCHURCH MEN FINED By Telegraph.-—Press Association. Christchurch, June 11., Two billiard saloons in the city were raided by detectives this morning and as a result, three men appeared before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., charged with keeping common gaining houses. Arising out of a raid on the Arcadia billiard saloon, Arthur Wellesley Francis was fined £5O, and his son, Arthur James Francis, £6O. John Ellis Woodhouse, proprietor of the Majestic billiard saloon, was fined £l5. All three pleaded guilty.
