HOUSES FOR UNEMPLOYED BEING BUILT AT RAILWAY WORKSHOPS.—A hundred or more cottages have been ordered by the Public Works Department to accommodate unemployed married men under the 10-acre allotment scheme. They will contain four rooms and a kitchen, with a total floor space of 219 sq. ft., each cottage being match-lined inside and of rusticated boards outside.
