SAVED FOUR FROM FLAMES
AIR -PILOT’S PRESENCE OF MIND. WAS INJURED IN FORCED LANDING By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 1.3 a.m. Sydney, June 9. An aeroplane piloted by F. Ashley and having four passengers made a forced landing in fog near Narromine. The plane burst into flames. Ashley, although slightly injured, with great presence of mind dragged all the passengers to safety unharmed. Three minutes later the machine was a smouldering ruin.
