PERMIT FOR ADDINGTON. FUNDS TO RELIEVE DISTRESS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. A permit has been granted to the Canterbury Owners and Breeders’ Association by the Minister ci Internal Affairs, Mr. Adam Hamilton, to hold a trotting meeting at Addington on Saturday, July 16, for charity. The proceeds are to be equally divided between the Mayor’s relief of distress fund and the Citizens’ Relief Association. All services at the meeting will be gratuitous. There will be a programme of seven events and £725 will be given in prizes.
