NEW SOUTH WALES LOANS

ANXIETY OVER REPAYMENT.

COMMONWEALTH ASSISTANCE.

By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright,

Rec. 10.30 p.m. London, June 9. There now appears to be a good chance that the Commonwealth will be able to effect a conversion on the State’s behalf. The rise in Australian loans is well deserved, the paper says. No Government has shown more determination to honour its obligations than that of the Commonwealth.
