NEW SOUTH WALES LOANS
ANXIETY OVER REPAYMENT.
COMMONWEALTH ASSISTANCE.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright,
Rec. 10.30 p.m. London, June 9. The Financial News says there has been foiw anxiety in some quarters whether the New South Wales Government will be able to meet loans maturing between next November and 1935. There now appears to be a good chance that the Commonwealth will be able to effect a conversion on the State’s behalf. The rise in Australian loans is well deserved, the paper says. No Government has shown more determination to honour its obligations than that of the Commonwealth.
