ILLEGAL EUCHRE PARTIES
WELLINGTON MEN CONVICTED.

Wellington, April 22. Fines of £2 each were imposed on four men, Grant, Shand, Brown and Saxon, for using the Dixieland Hall, Cuba Street, as a common gaming house. The prosecution was in connection with euchre tournaments held at the hall in which defendants were partners. i
