Rec. 5.5 p.m. Winnipeg, April 16, One convict was killed and two others were wounded in a prison riot at the Stoney Mountain penitentiary to-day. Thomas Jones and William Gorda, bank robbers, attacked two guards in the prison yard with stone hammers. The guards fired, wounding both, but a bullet ricocheted, killing Mike Bihun, a car thief who was taking no part in the riot.
