The death occurred at Wellington last night of Mr. John Henry Casson Bond, Dominion superintendent of the New Zealand Shipping Company, aged 60. He underwent an operation on Thursday and appeared to be recovering but succumbed to a heart attack, the Press Association reports. Evidenced by the crowds of shoppers daily at the Melbourne’s closing down sale this great money-saving opportunity is appreciated by the shopping public. The firm is making further sensational price reductions to clear stocks. Ladies’ woo. cardigans, wool jumpers, bloomers, singlets, coats, frocks, costumes, pyjamas, etc., quality goods going below wholesale cost price. See windows. Gome to-day.
