Calcutta. April 12.
Two youths, believed to be associated with a terrorist gang, held up, shot and seriously Avounded a postman and snatched his bag in a main street of Calcutta. Postbag snatching is a new phase of the revolutionary campaign, with the object of securing funds. Seventy .-rmed mounted men raided a village in t e Chittagong district, Bengal, and ransacked the house of a rich Hindu jeweller and money-lender. They seized cash and valuables worth over £2OOO.
