MOTOR-CYCLE CHAMPIONS
RACING ON SLIPPERY TRACK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The New Zealand lightweight and the Hawke’s Bay middleweight motorcycle championships were decided at the Napier Park racecourse this afternoon on a slippery track. ,D. Collison won the New Zealand lightweight, and H. Mangham the Hawke’s Bay middleweight. ' ’ Despite the condition of the track there were no serious spills, although the times for the various events were slightly affected. The results are':— New Zealand lightweight championship: D. Collison (Harley) 1, H. Stevenson (2f Velocette) 2, L. Sowerly (Velocette) 3. Time, 12min 52 l-ssec. , Hawke’s Bay middleweight championship (eight laps): H. Mangham (2J Rudge) 1, C. A. Wilkinson (2f Harley) 2, N. Zemanek (3| Rudge) 3'. Time, 9min 2 l-'ssec.
