ISSUES MUCH OVERSUBSCRIBED. LONDON PORT LOAN POPULAR. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, March 22. New loan issues continue to be heavily oversubscribed. The latest, the Port of London Authority loan of £2,000,000 at 5 per cent, issued at 101 J, was covered 25 times. A total of £270,000,000 has been offered in three weeks in response to invitations to subscriptions amounting to £8,900,000.
