There will still be some showers between Castlecliff and East Cape, but conditions there will improve. The cyclone has moved to the east of Chatham Islands and the weather is controlled by an anti-cyclone centred over southern New Zealand, A fresh depression is centred near Tasmania, Moderate to strong i southerly winds are probable, decreasing and later backing to the east and north. Seas will still have considerable swell on the east coast north of Kaikoura; elsewhere they will be smooth to moderate. LATE SHIPPING.
