TWO YOUNG MEN GO TO BORSTAL.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston North, March 9. Two young men, Lawrence Henry Diamond and Norman Terowhiti, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on a series of charges of theft and unlawful conversion of cars at Shannon, Tokomaru, Palmerston North and the surrounding district. They were sentenced to three years’ detention at a Borstal institute.
