PARTY TELEPHONE CHARGES
LITTLE PROSPECT OF REDUCTION POST OFFICE ON BUSINESS LINES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ‘ « Wellington, Last Night. The Postmaster-General (the Hon. A. Adam), replying to Mr. J. A. Nash (Co., Palmerston) in the House of Representatives this afternoon, said he fully appreciated the farmers’ difficulty in respect to charges for the use of party telephones, but the Post Office had to conduct its business mainly on business lines. At present there did not seem much chance of a reduction of charges, which were fairly reasonable. i .
