NEW PLYMOUTH PERFORMANCE. i What a wonderful word is circus! The announcement that Volpa Bros.’ circus is to make its appearance tonight for a three-night season in New Plymouth has caused widespread excitement. This excellent combination of real circus talent has been accorded a wonderful reception wherever it has appeared. It presents a monster- and attractive bill apd it is doubtful whether a finer combination has ever travelled the Dominion. The star act is the Flying Winskills, reputed to be the greatest flying act in the world to-day, supported by Rosie Rifle and Co., sharpshooters and rope spinners, La Belle Maisie, trapeze artist, Joey, the Laughing Clown, the Aerial Delventes, who depend on their teeth, Lavigne Sisters, double-wire act, Pimpo, acrobatic clown, Nelsen Bros., jugglers, the Royal Troupe of performing ponies, Togo, Charleston Horse, and Tommy, the miniature trick pony. _ ‘ __ _ ,
