SOUTH AUSTRALIAN ELECTION. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Adelaide, March 9. A by-election in the Victoria district for the State House seat resulted in a victory fpr Mr. V. G. Petherick (Liberal) from the Labourite, Mr. Corcoran, after the elimination of Mr. Speha (Independent) and Mr. Yates, a State Labourite and a former member for Adelaide in the Federal House.
