NEW PLYMOUTH SURF BALL.
Arrangements for the surf ball ) to be held at New Plymouth next week > were advanced at a meeting of the ladies’ committee last night. Those present were Mrs. Bennett (convener), Mrs. Hunter, Mrs. Charters, Mrs. Honeyfield, Mrs. Berg, Misses May, Richardson (2), Ohildarstone, Frethey, Sturmey and Knott. It was reported that the Mayor and ■ members of the borough council had consented to attend. The assistance of primary schools for supper arrangements and of business people will be : sought. Arrangements for a flashlight ; photograph were discussed.
