WESTMORELAND DELAYED.

The Westmoreland left Wellington at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth but had to put back on account of engine trouble. The time of the ship’s arrival at New Plymouth is now uncertain, but it will not be this morning. (U.S.®. Co.) .

PAUA UNLOADING CASE OIL.

The motor-vessel Paua arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning cargo of case oil from Wellington. After discharging, the vessel will load bulk oil from the Moturoa tanks for Nelson. She will sail for Nelson on Monday.

MATAKANA LEAVES COLON.

Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill Co. that the Matakana, which left Napier on January 26 for London, via the Panama Canal and Kingston, left Colon last Tuesday. The Matakana loaded, at New Plymouth early in January.

PORT BOWEN SAILS FOP. LONDON.

Having completed her Homeward loading, the C. and D. Line steamer Port Bowen left Port Chalmers on Thursday for London, via Cape Horn and Montevideo. The Port Bowen loaded meat and dairy produce at New Plymouth early in February.

MATSON LINER MARIPOSA.

The Matson Co.’s new liner Mariposa reported by wireless yesterday that she expecte to reach Auckland at,6.30 tomorrow morning, instead of eight oclock, as scheduled. The Mariposa will berth at Central Wharf. She is to resume her voyage toSydney at six o’clock on Monday morning.

COPTIC DUE NEXT WEDNESDAY.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion motorship Coptic expects to reach New Plymouth next Wednesday from London to commence her Homeward loading. Idle Coptic is to lo»d at New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington and Lyttelton, and will leave Lyttelton on March 11 for London, via Cape Horn and Lae Palmas.

RANGITIKI REACHES WELDINGTON

The N.Z. Shipping Co.’s motor-liner Rangitiki arrived at Wellington late on Thursday night from London. The Rangitiki is due at Auckland "ext Thursday to complete discharge and to commence loading for England. She is to leave Wellington on March 24 for London.

KENT AT AUCKLAND WEDNESDAY.

The New Zealand Shipping £o. has received a wireless message from the Federal steamer Kent, en route from Antwerp with basic slag, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland at daylight next Wednesday.
