A Boston (Massachusetts) “message states that Jack Sharkey to-day, in the headquarters of the American Legion at the State Capitol, offered to fight Max Schmeling next summer under the auspices of the legion for the benefit of unemployed veterans. Stephen Garrity, the State commander, has accepted the offer.
