DROWNING AT OPUNAKE
HOTEL PORTER LOST IN SURF. FRUITLESS SEARCH FOR BODY. Steve Sdhuber, a Swiss porter at the Club Hotel, Opunake, was drowned in the surf in Opunake Bay yesterday. Two girls who had seen Schuber bathing at about 4 p.m. missed him and raised, the alarm. Surf club men immediately commenced a search, and. a motor-launch put out from the wharf, but although the search was continued until dark no sign of the body wu found.
