CONVERSION ANNOUNCED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Jan. 12. Mr. Riddle, a Governor of the Commonwealth Bank, has announced that Rural Bank fixed deposits, which have been capitalised at 3 per cent., will be re-converted to fixed deposits at increased rates. Ten per cent, lias already been made available for withdrawal, and of the remaining balance half will be converted into fixed deposits for twelve months bearing interest at 3| per cent, and the other half into fixed deposits for two years at 4 per cent.
