COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Kaimai, from Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Nelson, arrived at New Plymouth from Nelson yesterday with 450 tons, including transhipments from the Narbada, Matakana, Golden Croce, Port Fremantle and. Marama. After discharge she sailed in the afternoon for Greymouth. (UjS.S. Co.) The John, from Dunedin, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, is expected at New Plymouth on Saturday. (Hooker Bros.) , ~ The Totara will load at Lyttelton on Thursday for New Plymouth, via Wellington. She was delayed two days on the West Coast. She is due about Saturday. The Totara will proceed to Westport to load a full cargo of coal for New Plymouth. (U.S.'S. Co.) The Pori Waikato, from Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, is expected at New Plymouth on January 23. She will proceed to Whangarei, Tauranga and Sydney. (Hooker Bros.) Line motor-ship Port Fremantle, which left New Plymouth on Mondav for Napier, is due at Wellington next’Sunday for further loading, and will leave there on January 20 for Wanganui to fill up. She is scheduled to clear Wanganui on January 30 for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar. MANY PASSENGERS ON AORANGI. An. exceptionally large number of passengers landed from the Aorangi when the liner arrived at Auckland from Sydney on Monday. Her passengers totalled 282, the largest number that has been carried across the Tasman on a single vessel since Christmas, 1930, and of that number 220 landed at Auckland. The arrivals included, a large percentage of 'business men from overseas anxious to investigate New Zealand conditions with a view to extension of trad®. There were also a large .number of overseas tourists. BEACON RELIGHTED.
