WAITARA EUCHRE PARTY
A euchre and dance party in the Clifton Hall, Waitara, on Monday under the .auspices of the. Waitara Cycling apd Athletic Club was a. great success. IL was a record gathering for a euchre party at Waitara, 7-1 tables being en<ra"ed while the management had to disappoint 40 people owing to the lack of accommodation. Prize-winners were: Ladies, Mrs. McWiell 1, Mrs. Wolfe 2, Miss Kiel 3, Mrs. J. Taylor 4, Mrs. R. Allen 5, Mrs. Broughton ,6, Mrs. L.Hoskuns I, Mws Paltridge 8, Mrs. J. Harvey 9, Mrs. R. Allen (special travelling ticket prize), Mrs. C. Limmer (hidden number), Mrs. Davis (consolation); Men, Mr. C. fehotter 1 Mr. E. Huffam 2, Mr. H. Furze 3 Mr H. Wolfe 4, Mr. F. Spurdie a, Mr. A. Jordan 6, Mr. D. Stockman Mr. E. Jury 8, Mr. F. Brimlow 9, Mr. J. Foreman (special travelling ticket prize), Mr. A. Coombe (hidden number), Mr. G. Sole (consolation).
