ELECTION RESULTS.
(To the Editor J Sir,—Although I fail to see how they could regard my “absurd figures” as anything but a pure mistake, nevertheless, for”bringing under notice the error, chiefly due to the wording, and thereby affecting the figures of the election results to such a drastic measure, I hereby express my thanks to the New Zealand Welfare League, Wellington. The total figures, according to the Taranaki Daily News, were: Coalition Party and group, 364,355., and with the Labour Party and group 654,336, giving Labour 289,981 votes.—l am, etc., YOUNGSTER.
