HOLIDAYS OF MINISTERS
DEPARTURE FROM WELLINGTON.

Wilington, Last Night. The Kt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, Prime Minister, will leave for his home at Cheviot on Wednesday evening and, in common with other Ministers of the Crown, ha will be absent from Wellington until early in the New Year.- Mr. Forbes presided at a meeting of the Cabinet this evening. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister of Public Works, will leave for his homo at Matakohe, North Auckland, to-mor-row afternoon. . . The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister Of Health, visited Palmerston North to-day to confer with the hospital board, there. The Hon. A. Hamilton, PostmasterGeneral, will leave for Southland to-mor-row evening. ~ The Hon. D. Jones, Minister of Agriculture, will leave for Christchurch tomorrow evening. He’ is not expected, to resign his portfolio until the New Year. The Hon. R. Masters, Minister of Education, is expected to leave for his home in Stratford about Thursday evening. The Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Justice, will leave for Feilding toward.-the end of the week. -•
