The Agriculture Committee of the Senate to-day approved a Bill authorising the Farm Board, to give 40,000,000 bushels of its surplus wheat for feeding the unemployed. The Bill will be pressed for action in the Senate on Monday. _ ' The Department of Agriculture has announced that the ivinter wheat acreage has been reduced 10.4 per cent, and is much less than tihe expected reduction, the new acreage being 38.082,000. The condition of ths winter wheat on Decmber was 79.4 per cent.
