WET, NORTHERLY WEATHER
BRIEF FINE INTERVALS PROBABLE. By Telegraph.—Prese Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be unsettled, cloudy and misty with rain in most districts and some heavy falls accompanied by thunder in places. Conditions are likely to continue unsettled for several days, though brief fine intervals are probable. A series of cyclones continues to pass over the Tasman Sea and New Zealand to-day. Rather intense ones have been centred respectively south of Chatham Islands, west of Cape Egmont and east of Tasmania. Winds will be moderate to strong generally and rising to gale fore® in places; There will be northeriies to wosterfeos north of New Plymo'uth and Napier and south-easterlies elsewhere. Later winds will again become north-easterly or northerly. Seas will be rough generally.
