WELLINGTON EAST POST OFFICE OPENED.—The Postmaster-General, the Hon. A. Hamilton, addressing the crowd in Cambridge Terrace, on Thursday afternoon at the official opening of the new Wellington East Post Office. Seated at his side is Mr. Peter Fraser, M.P., who presided, while other seen on the platform are the Hon. J. A. Y oung Minister of Health, Mr. R. Semple, M.P., Mr. G. McNamara, secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department, Mr. J. McLean, Chief Postmaster, and Mr. F. W. Furkert, Chief Engineer of the Public Work Department.
