EVERYBODY’S THEATRE. MONSTER MATINEE TO-DAY 2 P.M. "Pardon My Gun,” a Pathe all-talking production, will be the principal attraction on the new programme commencing at Everybody’s to-day at the matinee at 2 p.m. and to-night at 8 o’clock. Here is a story that contains all the elements of popular entertainment — out-of-doors action, rip-roaring comedy, snappy drama, music, songs and dances., The picture features a mammoth rodeo and a broncho relay race that, for< thrills; has seldom if ever been excelled. Then there is a barn dante in the course of which are introduced more specialty acts than are usually found in a big-time vaudeville show. The cast of players 'is exceptionally brilliant for a production of this tj*pe, and among, those featured are Sally Starr, George Duryea; Robert Edeson, Lee Moran, 1 Mona Ray; all screen players of exceptional quality; and the MacFarlane -brothers, world’s champion juvenile trick riders and ropers. The picture was produced by E--B. Derr, and the director was Robert De' Lacy, one of the most prominent directors of sure-fire comedies in the country. Abe Lyman and his band supply the musie. I ■ •MATINEE TO-DAY AT 2 P.M. “Behind Office Doors,” a Radio special attraction starring Mary Astor and Robert Ames,, will head the new programme commencing at The Regent to-day at 2 and 8 p.m. In this unusual film of office romance, a private secretary is ‘dis--charged primarily because of her good looks and because her boss’ fiance is jealous. In discharging this girl, did the fiancee over-step her rights?. THE OPERA HOUSE. MATINEE TO-DAY AT 2 P.M. Janet Gaynor and Charles' Fan-ell, the screen’s most popular sweethearts, are co-starred in Raoul Walsh's Fox Movietone production of “The Man Who Came Back,” which plays a return season at the New Plymouth Opera House to-day at a matinee and to-night at 8 o’clock. “The Alan Who Came Back” is one of the most powerful romantic dramas ever written. Farrell, as the ‘ne’er-do-well son of New York’s king of finance, falls from grace. • Improperly trained to face xfte world, he sinks, step by step until he finally’ reaches the lowest dive in Shanghai.
