The British Commonwealth merchant shipping agreement, drafted at the Imperial Conference in 1930 and signed 'by Mr. J. H. Thomas on behalf of the British and by the High Commissioners on behalf of the Dominions, conies into force simultaneously with the Statute of Westminster.
