LONDON WOOL PRICES UNCHANGED GOOD GENERAL COMPETITION. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —CopyrightLondon, Dec. 7. At the wool sales 10,660 bales were offered, including 3532 from New Zealand. About 7860 were sold. There was good general competition, though there were some withdrawals in slipes. The prices, except for scoured Merinos, were unchanged from the last closing figures. The present sales close on December 17. Quotations are:—Scoureds: Glenmore, top 18d, average 16Jd. Greasy Merino: Richmond-Brooke, lid and Greasy half bred: MacDonald Downs, 12£d and 10|d. At the Bradford wool market Merinos and fine crossbred tops were steady. Medium crossbreds were slightly easier.

WHEAT . CARGOES HIGHER. BUYERS IN ENGLAND ALOOF. London, Dec. 7. 1 Wheat cargoes are 3d to 9d higher, in view of the better overseas weekend closing rates and' the further decline in sterling. Buyers are aloof and parcels are irregular: Australian are steadier on renewed. Orient inquiry.
