CLAIM FOR WAGES INCREASE
MOTION PICTURE UNION’S CASE.

Wellington, Last Night. 1 The Arbitration Court to-day heard claims for a new award governing the Wellington Alotion Picture Projectionists’ pnion. Air. J. Read, appearing for the union, said the bulk of the- dispute had been settled. The main question for the Court was that of wages, which would be based on the award rates operating at present in Australia. Air. AV. J. Alountjoy, on behalf of the employers, opposed the claims for increased wages.
