TWO MEN UNDER ARREST
CHARGE OF .’AILING TO ACCOUNT ALLEGED THEFT AT FITZROY. I .... . Two arrests were made in New Plymouth yesterday. Herbert Petersen was taken into custody by Constable Butler on an Auckland warrant charging him with the receipt of £l5 for which he failed to account to Day Parbhu. He was brought before ML R. W. Tate, S.AL, apd remanded to appear at Auckland on Wednesday, Bail •was allowed in a personal surety of £5O and two other© of £25 each< The other arrest was that of a young man charged with stealing property valued at 23s belonging to Harold Ab bert Bishop, Fitzroy. He will appear before the court this morning. The man was- arrested by Sergeant McGregor and Constable Butler.
