CONTINUED FAIR WEATHER
SCATTERED SHOWERS POSSIBLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A continuance of fair to fine weather is probable in most districts, but scattered showers are likely on the west coast of the South Island and in Foveauk Strait. Cool night but warm day temperatures may be expected. While an anti-cyclone has been moving on to the Dominion a slight low pressure wave has been passing in the far south. Barometers have commenced to fall again over Tasmania. Moderate southerly winds are probable north of Cape Egmont and Napier and moderate to fresh westerlies to northerly thence southwards. Seas will still be rather rough on parts of the west coast south of Cape Egmont and rough in Foveaux Strait; elsewhere moderate.
