WOOL PRICES UNCHANGED
SYDNEY SALES RESUMED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Bee. 8.3'5 p.m. Sydney, Sept. 21. The Sydney wool sales were resumed to-day, when 11,100 bales were offered and 96'77 sold. In addition 800 were disposed of privately. The average price for wool sold in the first series of auctions was £8 16s 9d per bale, or 6.5 d per lb. There was good all-round competition to-day with strong inquiry from Japan and Italy, while moderate support came from Yorkshire and the Continent, The market showed no quotable change.
