Following a recommendation made by the coroner at the inquest into the death of Mies M. W. Runciman, who died as a result of a fall into a boiling pool at Whakarewarewa, Rotorua, on July 1, it was stated that the Tourist Department intended to erect warning notices at the dangerous places on the > reserve. The manager of the Rotorua j office of the department has now been 1 advised that 12 notices have been for- | warded from Wellington.
