STOWAWAYS PUNISHED
PASSAGE ON THE AORANGI. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, 'Sept. 21. George Leslie Braun, aged 23, and John Lawrence Hart, aged 2e, were each fined £8 or 14 days’ imprisonment for stowing away on the Aorangl from Sydney. Both belong tv respectable New Zealand families at Waihi and Hastings respectively. They had been in Sydney for 18 months and stowed away because they were practically starving there. They had been robbed of their fares, which were to them a few weeks ago.
