SINGLE MEN FOR CAMPS
APPLICATIONS IN NEW PLYMOUTH. POTATOES ON RUGBY PARK. Applications for vacancies for 26 single mca in the Wanganui unemploytaent camp are to be received to-day by jibe secretary of the North Taranaki unemployment committee at the office of the Labour Department, New Plymouth. As the vacancies will be filled in order jof priority of application, according to fidviCte received on Saturday from the .Unemployment Board, it is urged that Applications should be lodged early. The board has intimated that it ap- ! roves the local committee’s scheme io lant potatoes in Rugby Park, New 'lymouth. Provided permission is chained from the Rugby Union, the committee intends to proceed with the work £8 soon as possible.
