By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be fair to fine foi the most part, but some isolated, showers are probable in the far north and south and along the east coast of the North Island. Temperatures will be cold to-night but will gradually rise. The recent disturbance has passed away eastwards and a moderate anticyclone has been advancing towards New .Zealand. A series of intense depressions of the westerly type, ever, extends from Tasmania across the whole of the south coast of Australia. Southerly winds are probable, 'strong at times in the far north and along the east coast of the North Island, but elsewhere moderate and veering gradually to freshening westerlies and northwesterlies in and. south of Cook Strait. Seas will still have considerable swell on the west coast of the North Island and between Cape Campbell and East Cape; otherwise moderate.
