AMERICAN BUSINESS MEN REALISE THE NEED OF CONSISTENT ADVERTISING A survey made by the Bureau of Advertising of the American Newspaper I’ublishers’ Association reveals that 122 agencies of the 220 which replied to the questionnaire expect to place an increased amount of newspaper advertising in 1931; 18 ar.ticipate' smaller placings, and 66 state that they expect about the same volume as they placed last year. A similar inquiry among advertisers showed that 51 intend to increase -national advertising, 13 feel that their expenditure will decrease, and 51 indicate it will be about the same as in 1930. ;
