FARMER GIVES EXPLANATION.

Jonathan Rex Swarbrick, a farmer of Noreewood aged 21, pleaded guilty of the theft of three cheep valued at £2 14s, the property of a neighbouring farmer, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Swarbrick in evidence said the sheep were on his father’s property 12 months so he kilted two wethers, hanging the skins bearing the'earmark in the cowshed. No attempt was made to disguise his action.
