Whiteley spring flower show attains its majority this year, having been maintained without interruption for 21 years. The schedules for the show on 'September 9 and 10 may be obtained from the New Plymouth Hardware Co., Devon Street, or from the secretary, Mrs. F. Carter, 93 Vivian Street, New Plymouth.
Patrons of Westown Hall dances are notified that the usual fortnightly danee has been changed to Wednesday. The next dance takes place to-morrow evening, August 26, as advertised in this issue.
Six heavy draught horses broken to all work, tip drays and sets of harness are among a special entry on account of the New Plymouth Borough Council at the Waiwakaiho horse fair to be conducted by Newton King, Ltd., on Thursday. In a’ll 40 horses of various classes will be efforts.
