WREATH FOR EMDEN’S DEAD. London, August 12. A telegram_from. the cruiser Emden near Cocos Island, says the Berlin correspondent of the Times, announces that the German wreath in memory of the 114 members of the crew of the former Emden, killed during the engagement with the Sydney, was dropped over the . spot where she was when the Sydney engaged her. Heavy seas prevented the cruiser from landing a party, as was intended, to lay the wreath on the German graves.
