TWO YOUNG MEN FOUND DEAD
TRAGEDY IN VICTORIAN ORCHARD.
ONE VICTIM’S HEAD BATTERED.

Rec. 7.10 p.m. Melbourne, Aug. 23. Two young reeks were found dead this morning in a hut on their orchard at Longlake, ten miles from Swan Hill. One of the victims had had his head battered, apparently with a pick handle, which was found blood-stained outside the hut. The other victim was shot through the heart. A rifle was lying near his feet.
