FLEET OF PORTUGAL
CONTRACT FOR ARMAMENT. London, Aug. 10. A- contract with Vickers-Armstrong Limited, for the whole of the armament for the new Portuguese fleet, now in course of construction, has been given by the Portuguese Government. Jie value of the order is about £OOO,OOO, and it was obtained against foreign competition.
