Christchurch, Last Night.

The Supreme Court to-day continued the hearing of 12 charges of theft against Robert John Munro, it being alleged that he failed to account for partnership monies. Th& jury found that Munro had received all the monies mentioned in the charges, but that owing to the very lax methods of business pertaining to the partnership on both sides tlie jury was forced to return a verdict of not guilty of theft. His Honour said this constituted a verdict of not guity on all counts and the prisoner was disch irged.
