AN ANIMAL GAME.
A good game for a party is to let each player write down the letters of the alphabet one under the other, and then put against each the name of an animal beginning with that letter. Any kind of animal life may be included, but it is perhaps necessary to leave out “X.”
At the end of ten minutes each player reads out his list. Names that_appear on two or more of the lists are crossed out, and the winner of the game is the one who has the largest number that do not appear on any other list. The same game can be played, of course, with t.he names of towns, rivers, famous men, and so on.
