BANKS ARRANGE 18-MONTH CREDIT
ECHO OF FAILURE TO BORROW.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.
Budapest, Aug. 13.
An agreement reached in Paris by the banks arranges for Holland and Italy to grant Hungary £5,006,000 credit for 18 months. This is a sequel to the recent three-day closing of the Hungarian banks owing to the failure to obtain a £7,000,000 international loan, since when withdrawals have been rationed.
