THE SUN-SET FAIRIES.
(Sent by
Jean Hendrick.)
The sunset over in the west, Looking so gay, and quite its best. And in the sky, with paint and pot, The Sunset Fairies ne’er forgot To paint the sunset gold and red. When all good children are in bed.
And when the sky is gay with gold, And crimson shadows, manifold, The Sunset Fairies fly away, To dance, until the break o’ day, When morning mists in rosy ’skies, Wrap round, and close their tired eyes.
